This McKittrick Canyon Line Camp waits for those willing to hike approximately 3.7 miles to step back in time to the way it used to be. The stroll is fairly level and follows an old abandoned jeep road much of the way. Rugged bluffs tower above the canyon floor where a beautiful clear running stream is populated with trout in their only natural habitat in Texas. The canyon entrance is within Guadalupe Mountains National Park and is only open during the times determined by park policies, so be sure to check ahead.
